Otterbein has a full‑time and part‑time opportunity for a Housekeeper. Housekeepers provide a clean, safe environment for residents, guests and employees, enhancing the lives and nurturing the growth of older persons through high quality service delivered in a cheerful, timely manner. The team is proud of serving our senior residents.

• Clean furnishings, fixtures, ledges, windows, heating/cooling units, etc. by washing, dusting, or polishing as scheduled or assigned.
• Clean floors by sweeping, vacuuming, dust mopping, or damp/wet mopping as scheduled or assigned.
• Empty trash, clean trash receptacles, and transport trash to the proper area.
• Report burned out light bulbs, broken or defective equipment, other maintenance concerns, pest control problems, and unsafe or unsanitary conditions to the supervisor.
• Interact positively with residents, family members, guests, and personnel.
• Follow all established policies, procedures, and regulations to assure that quality resident care is maintained.
• Communicate, coordinate, and cooperate with other team members.
• Maintain resident rights and confidentiality.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Previous housekeeping and/or laundry in long‑term care preferred, but not required.
• Positive attitude.
