Groundskeeper, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Job Description
Under direct supervision from supervisor or guidance from higher level staff, performs routine, unskilled grounds maintenance tasks. Works primarily first shift within Facilities Operations and Development Landscape Services, but is subject to changes in shift, hours, days, and/or location as operations dictate; may work overtime; subject to 24 hour emergency call in. Will require successful completion of a criminal background check.
Minimum Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED.
Required QualificationsAt least one (1) month experience in grounds maintenance. Requires valid Ohio driver license and evidence of satisfactory driving record for insurability by university. May be required to fulfill periodic safety requirements prescribed by state and/or federal standards.
Additional InformationThe target hiring range for this job profile is $15.60 - $21.45 per hour. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
