Job Position

Description:

Manager responsibilities include coordinating employee shifts, training, filling in, motivating team members, and conducting site inspections. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all staff stay on task and complete all assignments to Service Master standards. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding and demonstration of cleaning principles and team management abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Training cleaners on Service Master’s standards, products, processes, and procedures.
• Overseeing staff performance and ensuring all assignments are completed in accordance with the set task schedule.
• Performing inspections and giving constructive performance feedback to staff members.
• Assigning shifts and making necessary adjustments in case of call-offs or no-shows.
• Responding to customer complaints and requests in a timely and caring manner.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and OSHA regulations.
• Filling in when needed for call-offs or open positions.
• Must be able to communicate in English; bilingual is a plus.

Physical Demands and

Qualifications:

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
• 1-2 years’ supervisory experience.
• Will provide on-the-job training to those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude.
