My client is a highly respected Top ENR general contractor with a long-standing presence in the Midwest. They are known for delivering complex, high-profile projects across commercial, industrial, and mission-critical markets.
They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join this Strategic Group, supporting technically complex and fast-paced projects throughout the region.
- Compensation: $125K–$175K+ base, annual bonus, and full benefits
This Project Manager will play a key role in the execution of strategic, high-impact projects, working closely with senior leadership, preconstruction, and field teams. The role offers exposure to complex delivery methods, sophisticated clients, and a clear runway for advancement into Senior Project Manager and Project Executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Lead and mentor project teams, including APMs, PEs, and field leadership
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, cost reports, and forecasts
- Coordinate subcontractor procurement, scope alignment, and contract execution
- Serve as a primary point of contact for owners, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Oversee change management, RFIs, submittals, and document control
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements
- Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to proactively manage risk
- Track project performance and provide accurate financial and schedule reporting
- Support preconstruction efforts including estimating, logistics planning, and value engineering
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction
- Experience managing ground-up or complex renovation projects typically ranging from $15M–$100M+
- Strong understanding of construction financials, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project logistics
- Experience working on fast-track or design-build projects preferred
- Top ENR contractor with a strong, long-term project backlog
