Position Overview

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient, accurate, and safe handling of inventory. This role leads warehouse personnel, manages inventory control, coordinates inbound and outbound shipments, and drives continuous improvement in productivity, accuracy, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including warehouse associates, forklift operators, and order pickers
  • Assign daily tasks and monitor performance to meet productivity, quality, and accuracy standards
  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Implement and monitor inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and accountability
  • Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to improve efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct safety training, inspections, and audits to promote a safe work environment
  • Oversee warehouse equipment maintenance and ensure routine inspections are completed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar leadership role
  • Forklift certification required; experience operating heavy forklifts strongly preferred
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office
  • Solid understanding of inventory management, shipping/receiving processes, and logistics operations
  • Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and best practices
