Store Manager, Retail & Store Manager

Diamonds Direct is looking for an energetic, motivating, self‑starting, experienced Jewelry Store Manager.

• Leadership:
  • Represent Diamonds Direct at designated functions and marketing opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of current industry trends and educate employees to promote optimal performance.
• Management:
  • Create and manage employee schedules.
  • Train and develop sales professionals.
  • Collaborate with GM & VP to set monthly and annual store goals.
  • Role model appropriate sales techniques.
  • Ensure inventory control and best practices.
• Customer Management:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers.
  • Demonstrate exemplary customer service and coach employees to do the same.
  • Be visible on the sales floor to resolve issues and requests in a timely manner.

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university; or a minimum of three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in the jewelry industry required.
• Jewelry store management experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
