Project Manager, Store Construction & Maintenance

The Project Manager role has full accountability for our retail development projects from the inception of an approved real estate deal through the opening and warranty periods. As a leadership position within the department, this role emphasizes fostering a positive team culture through mentoring, support, and motivation.

• Oversee architects and contractors, manage project schedules, and ensure accurate financial forecasting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brand partners and cross‑functional teams, including purchasing, design, finance, real estate, and maintenance.
• Identify issues, initiate escalations, and drive timely resolution.
• Review leases and conduct site surveys.
• Prepare project estimates and schedules.
• Coordinate and validate site information.
• Manage architectural processes and design deliverables.
• Secure project permits and landlord approvals.
• Oversee bidding, contract negotiations, and vendor qualification.
• Coordinate owner‑supplied materials and ensure quality control.
• Apply HVAC knowledge and proficiencies.
• Manage jobsite activities and ensure punch list completion.
• Represent the brand/client throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support visual and marketing initiatives.
• Administer contracts and change orders.
• Manage financial and legal project closeout.
• Maintain ownership of maintenance responsibilities.
• Drive value engineering initiatives and cost‑reduction strategies.
• Enhance process efficiency and implement best practices.
• Develop and strengthen vendor relationships.
• Support prototype creation and conceptual design development.
• Maintain flexibility to accommodate peak workload and adjusted work hours.
• Support the maintenance of our stores through the management of work orders as needed.
