Position Summary
The Brand Engagement Director manages significant client engagement and serves as a strategic leader responsible for driving client growth, elevating client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. This role champions innovative strategies, performance marketing integration, and cross‑disciplinary excellence to deliver measurable client impact.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Strategic Advisory & Account Leadership- Leads day‑to‑day strategic planning and execution across multiple accounts.
- Ensures strategic recommendations, deliverables, and thought leadership align with client goals.
- Partners with clients to shape brand, marketing, and business strategies.
- Elevates the quality of SOW deliverables.
- Develops and manages action plans based on client and team satisfaction scores.
- Develops and/or manages account plans and identifies organic growth opportunities.
- Identifies opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts.
- Strengthens multi‑level client relationships.
- Develops trusted, senior‑level relationships with client stakeholders.
- Manages strategic conversations and facilitates high‑impact presentations.
- Directly manages Senior Brand Engagement Managers and Brand Engagement Managers.
- Sets quarterly Rocks and goals with team members.
- Coaches team in strategic thinking, client leadership, and industry expertise.
- Ensures integrated delivery across creative, strategy, media, digital, PR, social and project management teams.
- Serves as the strategic lead for interdisciplinary work streams.
- Provides clarity and alignment across internal teams.
- Oversees AGI forecasting and account financial health.
- Monitors performance metrics across client satisfaction, Lift scores, KPIs, and deliverable quality.
- Ensures accounts are staffed appropriately and profitably.
- 8‑12 years in account leadership, brand strategy, marketing, or consulting.
- Strong experience leading teams and multi‑disciplinary work.
- Ability to synthesize insights into actionable strategic recommendations.
- Strong communicator with excellent client leadership skills.
- Track record in managing and leading performance marketing engagements.
- Experience with financial services and/or healthcare clients.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellence in strategic storytelling and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate high‑performing teams.
- Deep understanding of marketing, advertising, digital ecosystems, and brand strategy.
- Ability to translate insights into actionable, revenue‑driving recommendations.
- Adept at using data to inform strategic decisions.
- Commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and elevating agency thinking.
- Organic revenue growth across portfolio of clients.
