Salary Range: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 Annually

We are seeking a talented and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead a team of 30+ seasoned warehouse professionals supporting two of our iconic brands, Junior Library Guild and AKJ Education. The Warehouse Manager reports to the Senior Warehouse Manager and oversees shipping, receiving, inventory control, and people management—including hiring, coaching, performance evaluations, and staffing adjustments for seasonal changes.
Responsibilities- Improve operational efficiency through process improvement, effective shift planning, and performance management.
- Drive inventory accuracy by implementing inventory control processes and developing cycle‑count strategies.
- Manage warehouse team, including training, development, coaching, discipline, and performance reviews.
- Ensure operational production requirements are met by reviewing staffing plans, scheduling employees, and tracking performance.
- Build a culture that centers safety, integrity, and respect for the individual.
- 2+ years of warehouse management experience with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, distribution, and inventory management.
- Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); experience with Korber WMS is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with SAP Business One (SAP B1) is a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail‑oriented and able to prioritize work, set and meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
- Owner of projects, inventive problem solver, and highly accountable.
- Can multi‑task and transition between projects, willing to “roll your sleeves up,” and get the job done.
- Able to clearly communicate complex information and data analyses.
