We're looking for an experienced Senior Area Director to provide operational leadership across multiple markets, ensuring exceptional care, regulatory excellence, and outstanding support for the individuals we serve. What You'll DoAs a Senior Area Director, you'll serve as a trusted regional leader, partnering closely with the Regional Vice President and cross‑functional teams to drive operational excellence across residential and day services.
- Lead and mentor Area Directors and Day Program Managers, building engaged, high‑performing teams.
- Ensure safe, compliant, person‑centered services across multiple programs.
- Spend time in the field conducting site visits, coaching leaders, and supporting operational success.
- Champion quality, survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Drive staffing excellence through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and workforce planning.
- Partner with clinical, quality, HR, recruiting, and operations teams to support census growth and seamless client onboarding.
- Monitor program outcomes, identify trends, and implement solutions that improve care and operational performance.
- Build strong relationships with families, community partners, health‑care providers, and other key stakeholders.
- Help create an environment where both employees and the individuals we support can thrive.
You're someone who:

- Has a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality standards.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Healthcare, or a related field.
- At least one year of direct experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- 3‑5 years of progressive leadership experience managing teams, operations, staffing, and compliance.
- Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with Individual Program Plans (IPP), Person‑Directed Plans (PDP), or person‑centered planning.
- Experience participating in regulatory surveys, audits, or inspections.
