Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams effectively through teaching, training, and active listening.
• Provide feedback to associates, support their development, and promote a culture of belonging.
• Model the One Best Way customer service standard and manage customer service initiatives.
• Drive financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
• Ensure effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes.
• Supervise, hire, train, mentor, and recognize hourly associates; set clear expectations.
• Coordinate job‑related activities and foster relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and the Open Door Policy.
• Promote a culture of belonging, respect, integrity, and continuous improvement.

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms: successful completion of a firearms‑specific criminal background check and firearms authorized training.
• For facilities that sell ammunition: a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
• Associates must attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments.

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or related field.
• Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
