Director, Airfield & Facilities Maintenance

The Columbus Regional Airport Authority (CRAA) is seeking a strategic and collaborative leader to serve as our Director, Airfield & Facilities Maintenance. This position is responsible for developing long-range maintenance and asset management strategies while leading diverse teams that ensure our airports remain safe, reliable, efficient, and welcoming for passengers, tenants, airlines, and the community. The Director will provide enterprise leadership for facilities maintenance, airfield maintenance and fleet operations, lead the planning and execution of operating and capital budgets, provide strategic oversight of airport snow and ice control operations, and lead department managers and supervisors in planning, prioritizing, and completing maintenance and operational work activities while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven leadership experience managing complex maintenance or airport operations functions, experience overseeing facilities, infrastructure, asset management, or maintenance programs within a complex operational environment, strong financial and business acumen, excellent strategic planning, communication, and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service.
