Job Overview:
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking an experienced financial professional to supervise our Budget Support Unit. As the Budget Support Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- directing and managing the funding for agency expenditures (e.g. staffing, contracts, special projects, inter agency agreements and information technology systems)
- monitoring federal and state policy and regulations for administrative cost impact to the agency
- acting as the Contract Manager for ODM’s budget system
- setting Budget Support Unit goals and deadlines, delegating work to assigned staff and monitoring progress
- providing continuous direction, constructive feedback and coaching
- gathering and reporting budget information to Fiscal leadership
The preferred candidate will have a passion for managing, coaching and developing staff members along with extensive budgeting knowledge and strong analysis abilities.
