Carrier Development Manager
Join a Growing Transportation Leader and Help Build the Future of Our Carrier Network We are seeking a relationship-driven, strategic Carrier Development Manager to strengthen carrier partnerships, improve network performance, and support long-term growth. This role serves as the bridge between carriers, operations, and sales while developing a preferred carrier network that drives service excellence and profitability.
What You Will Do- Build and maintain relationships with core and high-volume carrier partners.
- Conduct regular touchpoints, quarterly business reviews, and annual in-person meetings.
- Understand carrier networks, capacity, strategic lanes, and growth objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between carriers, operations, and sales teams.
- Provide carrier scorecards and actionable performance feedback.
- Partner with operations to align freight opportunities with carrier networks.
- Monitor service issues and proactively resolve carrier concerns.
- Recruit new carriers through outreach, referrals, industry events, and market expansion initiatives.
- Oversee carrier onboarding to ensure readiness and compliance.
