Purpose of Position

The Manager, FBO Services provides leadership, training and direction to the FBO Services Management and employee teams, ensuring the safe and compliant execution of all FBO activities in accordance with federal, local and company regulations and guidelines. The Manager, FBO Services assures the completion of administrative work, reports, financial billing, training, and conducts meetings associated with the operation. The Manager, FBO Services is responsible for the ensuring employees operate within the rules of the collective bargaining agreement and resolves issues directly with local union representation.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Ensures the safe and efficient operation of all FBO services provided including, but not limited to aircraft parking, departure, fueling, towing, de-icing and cleaning services provided.
    Ensures company compliance with all company, state, local and federal safety, environmental, and other applicable regulations.
    Assures mandatory training requirments are maintained and recorded. Indetifies training needs and assists in the development of training programs as needed.
  • Maintains the industry's highest standards of customer service by the FBO Services team.
  • Monitors FBO flight schedule, plans, prioritizes, assigns and evaluates the work of the staff accordingly, assuring adequate team member coverage
  • Coordinates aircraft parking, moving and hangar requirements with Maintenance and Operations departments.
  • Ensures proper documentation of services provided and assures accurate billing of services.
  • Assures that the resources required for the operation are inventoried and ordered.
  • Supports existing relationships with customers, vendors, internal departments, suppliers and establishes new relationships accordingly. Works with the airport authority to assure training records are current and operational requirements are compliant and maintained.
  • Develops policies and procedures regarding line service operations.
  • Ensures fueling operation compliance with
    14 CFR 139.321 and other applicable rules. Maintains 14 CFR 139.321(E)(1) Fueling Supervisor status.
  • Assures ground support equipment preventative maintenance, calibrations, inspections, and equipment repairs are completed.

  • High School diploma or GED certificate
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation or related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Five (5) years FBO management experience.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and obtain AOA badge required.
  • Working knowledge of 14 CFR 139.321 aircraft fueling requirements with fueling supervisor certification preferred.
  • Experienced in aircraft de-icing operations, equipment and requirements.
  • Excellent customer relations skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred.
  • OSHA 10 / OSHA 30 experience is a plus.
