Overview
This is a Mon-Friday, 8am – 5pm role that requires you to be in person 100%.
This role has oversight for the main campus clinic and our outreach clinics throughout central Ohio and/or surrounding areas.
- MSN degree required.
- At least 3 years of management experience.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary service lines and multiple clinic locations preferred.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance required by hospital policy; must pass a motor vehicle background inspection and meet Nationwide Children’s Hospital insurance guidelines.
Plans, implements, and evaluates the administrative, operational, supervisory and direct care activities for assigned cost centers (Urology clinics). Leads a multidisciplinary team of professional and support staff in strategic directives and care activities to ensure the assigned department achieves best outcomes for patients, families and staff.
Essential Functions- Develops expense, operational and capital budgets; monitors, evaluates and justifies monthly budget expenditures and revenue.
- Recruits, trains, evaluates, develops, disciplines and/or terminates subordinate staff; assures performance standards for all staff are met.
- Promotes teamwork by building a team environment and fostering cross‑functional collaboration.
- Ensures regulatory compliance and emergency response preparedness.
- Maintains safety and quality as priorities, providing direction, prioritization, accountability, enthusiasm and support for safety and quality initiatives.
- Coordinates staff representation on departmental, hospital and community task forces, committees, quality teams and advisory groups; serves as a representative to such groups when appropriate.
MS required. If holding a BSN, must obtain an MS within 3 years and must be currently enrolled in a program. The work requires a level of knowledge equivalent to completing a master’s degree program in nursing, hospital administration, business administration, or a closely related field.
Licensure RequirementCurrent licensure in the area of clinical practice in the state of Ohio.
