What You'll Do as a Fleet Garage Supervisor
  • Acts as liaison between ODPS divisions & the Fleet Office;
    Ensures vehicles are assigned based on employee needs.
  • Provides direct supervision to staff.
  • Formulates, creates & assigns work plans & develops procedures for conducting inventory.
  • Writes new or modifies existing maintenance procedures & implements approved procedures.
  • Coordinates daily operation of the central Fleet garage.
  • Coordinates vehicle recalls & reviews vehicle accident reports to ensure compliance with state insurance providers;
    Periodically reviews preventative maintenance schedules.

Qualifications

3 courses or 9 mos. exp. in record keeping/inventory control;

AND 3 courses or 9 mos. exp. in basic auto repair or maintenance.
