** Role Summary Position has significant impact upon enterprise growth and profitability. With the CEO, key role in capitalizing on market dynamics and opportunities. Works closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Investment Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Planning and Strategy Officer and field and marketing leadership in implementing mergers and acquisitions programs, strategic alliances, enhanced fee income and other business opportunities.

* Key Responsibilities:

** 1. Responsible for identifying and evaluating opportunities to increase growth and profitability through mergers and acquisitions, business diversification opportunities and strategic alliances.
2. Identify/search for appropriate mergers and acquisitions possibilities working with investment bankers and industry contacts.
3. Assess each possibility against established criteria.
4. Lead the due diligence team.  Ensure an acquisition integration plan.
5. Lead expansion into new businesses through identifying, evaluating, planning and implementation, working with appropriate functional area(s) of company.
6. Identify, evaluate, and coordinate initiatives to increase growth and profitability.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
