Senior Star is seeking an experienced Assistant Executive Director to partner with the Executive Director in leading Harrison on 5th.

This role is ideal for a strong senior living operator who brings calm, clarity, and consistency to a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for someone who can coach leaders, manage competing priorities, strengthen day-to-day operations, and keep the community focused on what matters most.

This leader must also have a strong sales mindset and understand how operations, hospitality, community presentation, and responsiveness directly impact tours, move-ins, occupancy, and the overall resident experience.

• Partner with the Executive Director on daily community operations and performance.
• Coach and develop department leaders while creating clear expectations and accountability.
• Bring structure and focus to competing priorities and operational challenges.
• Stay calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
• Partner closely with Sales to support tours, leasing priorities, move-ins, and occupancy growth.
• Ensure the community is consistently tour-ready, move-in ready, and Top in Class.
• Support resident satisfaction, associate engagement, financial performance, and overall community success.
• Maintain a visible, approachable leadership presence with residents, families, prospects, and associates.

• Proven senior living leadership experience overseeing community operations, leaders, and day-to-day performance.
• Experience in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or a combination of senior living settings.
• Strong operational leadership and experience managing multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to coach, manage, and develop leaders.
• Strong understanding of how operations support sales and occupancy.
• Excellent judgment, communication, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain cool, calm, and collected in a fast-moving environment.
