Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Clinical Project Manager to join a leading clinical research and healthcare organization for a fully remote permanent position. The Senior Clinical Project Manager will oversee global clinical development programs, driving study execution, timeline adherence, and operational success across complex Internal Medicine trials, with a strong focus on cardiometabolic indications.
Responsibilities of the Senior Clinical Project Manager include:- Direct global clinical trial programs from study startup through closeout, ensuring deliverables, budgets, and timelines remain on track.
- Lead cross-functional teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders to support successful execution of clinical studies across multiple regions.
- Manage project risks, resources, forecasts, and operational challenges while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
- Oversee studies within cardiometabolic therapeutic areas, including MASH, obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular research programs.
- Provide strategic leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project teams while driving process enhancements and operational excellence initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive clinical project management experience within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or contract research organization environment.
- Proven success managing global clinical trials, including experience within cardiometabolic indications such as MASH, obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular studies.
- Strong understanding of clinical development processes, project management methodologies, GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range: $165,000-$175,000/year (USD)
