Parcel Shipping Clerk

Overview

Franklin International, a leading manufacturer of adhesives, coatings, and sealants, is currently seeking a Small Parcel Shipping Clerk
. This position is responsible for preparing small packages to ship, assisting with facility cleaning, and special projects.

• Promotes positive internal and external customer service by providing timely and accurate shipping services.
• Checks that materials are available for customer orders.
• Checks that authorization for shipping is complete and accurate.
• Packs and wraps materials for shipment.
• Assists in warehouse operations office as needed.
• Maintains a clean work environment and shares responsibility for cleaning tasks to improve facility safety and appearance.
• Completes special projects as outlined by supervisor and may assemble various items to help attain department goals.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience in small package shipping and receiving operations, preferably in the field of hazardous materials.
• Other preferred:
  Certified forklift driver, knowledge of Haz Mat Federal Regulations, UPS air restrictions, international shipping regulations.
