** What You’ll Do
** As a material handler you’ll be part of our team located in Columbus, OH. You’ll get to:
* Stock or replenish finished goods, repair parts, sets, supplier catalog literature, supplies or returned product, in various storage areas within the Distribution Center
* Tab, sleeve, bag or label items prior to stocking
* Obtain needed product from bulk areas or transfer points using necessary portable handling equipment.
* Fill rush orders, including unique, hand-billed, and special orders by pulling the product, preparing and packing for shipment, and delivering it to the staging area for shipment.
* Monitor the quantity of items in stock locations to assure that stock is not depleted
* Maintain low lists, internal usage records, and stock status records.
* Work closely with the inventory control and the repair sections as necessary in coordinating the inventory of assigned area as required.
* Perform the necessary handling requirements of the job, routing equipment checks, re-charges and daily maintenance.
* Perform any duties deemed necessary by the Supervisor.
** Who You Are
*** High school diploma or GED
* Experience with WMS & AS400 picking operation and process.
* Comprehend and demonstrate compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.
* Must be able to work with little direct supervision, self-starter attitude.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and high level of quality orientation
* Able to adapt and prioritize work to support the flow of work through the Picking area.
* Must be flexible in job duties and be able to perform a variety of tasks upon request.
* Able to lift and maneuver 40 pounds and stand for 8 hour shift
