This position is responsible for moving products and raw materials throughout the manufacturing plant and ensuring all materials needed for fabrication jobs are available. The Manufacturing Expeditor acts as a liaison between manufacturing and purchasing, identifying and communicating any missing or incorrect materials in a timely manner. While primarily based in the manufacturing plant, this role may also support other departments such as purchasing and warehouse operations.

Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

• Operate a forklift to move products and materials
• Review materials needed for fabrication jobs
• Identify and communicate material discrepancies
  
  Perform other manufacturing tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace/shop

• Minimum - High School or GED
• Minimum - 1 - 3 months related experience and/or training

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and fabrication materials
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Mechanically inclined; ability to work with basic hand and power tools
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16th of an inch
• Ability to add and subtract fractions
• Communicates well with others; asks for and offers help when needed
• Detail oriented; meets quality standards and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
• Organized; completes work in a timely manner; able to prioritize and meet deadlines
