Maintenance Supervisor

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the maintenance and reliability of plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000

• Assess all damaged and non-functional equipment to determine necessary corrective actions.
• Delegate assignments and provide instructions to maintenance technicians to ensure efficient repairs.
• Oversee maintenance activities related to plant equipment, including refrigeration, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Implement solutions swiftly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards across all maintenance operations.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting.
• Prior supervisory experience of 2-4 years in a related environment.
• Hands‑on experience with plant equipment such as flat freezers, refrigeration, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs, welding, plumbing, and electrical systems (including 480V electrical).
• Training in HACCP, Lockout/Tagout, GMP, safety, and sanitation protocols.
