Responsibilities- Operate automatic stamping presses to support department and company goals.
- Use powered hand tools to make adjustments to equipment as necessary.
- Communicate with department leadership regarding issues and improvements.
- Assist other associates with press set-ups and changeovers.
- Perform quality inspections to blueprints and specifications using provided precision measuring tools.
- Maintain a clean work environment to meet 6S standards.
- Count, package and palletize finished product in accordance with work orders.
- Ensure auxiliary equipment is operating to standard.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
- 1 year related experience and/or training preferred.
- Safety:
Able to consistently prioritize safety by demonstrating safe work practices and promoting a safe work environment. - Accountability & Dependability:
Reliable, punctual attendance. - Physical Demands:
Able to remain standing for the shift and lift up to 40 lbs using proper technique. - Mathematical Reasoning:
Ability to apply basic math skills. - Instruction Comprehension:
Ability to comprehend instructions furnished in English (written, oral, diagram, or schedule form). - Communication:
Ability to communicate one-on-one and in small group settings. - Measurements:
Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32" tolerance, measure angles with a protractor to +/- 1 degree, and read a micrometer and caliper. - Problem Solving:
Ability to identify options for solving a problem encountered during manufacturing. - Computer
Skills:
Ability to use computer or touchscreen to perform daily tasks and required training.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSStand, walk, see, talk and hear; frequently lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier with proper equipment; operate large equipment while standing for ~8-12 hours; perform repetitive twisting and bending.
WORK ENVIRONMENTExposure to heat and/or cold, loud noise levels, vibration, and moving mechanical parts.
TRAVELThis position does not require travel.
WORK STATUS & LOCATIONThis full-time, non-exempt position is located in Columbus, OH.
RELOCATIONRelocation is not available for this position.
PAY$16.44 - $24.66 / hour
