$20 per hour
Shift: 8am - 5pm Mon - Fri
What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:- Maintaining the flow of stocked and delivered inventory by pulling material from bins and loading materials onto trucks
- Placing new material arrivals into bins and accurately recording inventory data via scanning or manual entry
- Unloading materials, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks and inspecting them for quality requirements
- Stocking and transferring materials, tools, and equipment to appropriate storage locations based on predetermined criteria
- Marking materials with correct identifying information and assembling customer orders for packaging and shipment
- Preparing documentation for various shipping methods (UPS, LTL, Air, etc.)
- Adhering to all required safety policies and maintaining warehouse cleanliness in compliance with OSHA and customer safety standards
- Reporting directly to the Branch Manager or as assigned
- Have a High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Are able to read, write, and speak English proficiently to ensure safety and clear communication
- Possess basic math, typing, and computer skills
- Are able to provide documentation verifying legal work status
- Are willing to learn federal, health, and safety regulations as well as warehouse operations and business processes
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and ethical conduct
- Can perform the physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
