Experienced Welder – First Shift (Temp to Perm)

Location: Gahanna, Ohio

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M

Compensation:

  • Starting at $20.00/hr (Negotiable, commensurate with experience and performance)

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years proven TIG & MIG welding experience in a relatable industry
  • Must supply own helmet and gloves
  • Demonstrated proficiency in welding Stainless Steel (20 ga. – 16 ga.), some Aluminum
  • Formal Welding School training required
  • Experience with Modular Fixturing (minimum 1 year)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols
  • Willingness to grind, polish, stud, and spot weld as required
  • Familiarity with ISO procedures and quality standards is a plus
  • Must be capable of standing, sitting, reaching, bending, lifting up to 75 lbs., pushing, pulling, and performing fine tactical work

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality TIG & MIG welding according to specifications
  • Complete weld test and print test during interview
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Assist in cross‑training across departments to ensure precision and defect‑free products
  • Contribute to a fast‑paced job shop serving the power industry
