The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day maintenance activities in our beverage manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all production equipment, machinery, and facilities are maintained in a safe, efficient, and reliable condition to support continuous high-quality production. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who prioritizes safety, preventive maintenance, and team development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians on all shifts
Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance (PM) programs on production lines, conveyors, fillers, packaging equipment, and facility systems
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment quickly to minimize downtime
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, GMPs, and food safety standards (HACCP, SQF)
Coordinate with production supervisors to schedule maintenance around production needs
Maintain accurate maintenance records, parts inventory, and work orders
Train, coach, and develop maintenance technicians on technical skills and safety procedures
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime
Monitor and manage department budget and spending on parts/supplies
Perform root-cause analysis on recurring equipment issues
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or GED required;
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (beverage, food, or CPG industry strongly preferred)
Minimum 1 years of supervisory or lead experience
Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and packaging equipment
Working knowledge of PLCs, electrical systems, and basic welding/fabrication is a plus
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Must be available for flexible hours, including nights and weekends when needed
Physical & Work Environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
Exposure to moderate noise levels and varying temperatures
