Machine Operator (Pipe Bender)

$20.00-$25.00 per hour BOE

Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm, 6:00am-2:30pm, or 7:00am-3:30pm depending on department

• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
• Set stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template
• Positions workpiece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade
• Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine
• Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction
• Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation
• Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpiece
• Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces
• Stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces
• Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment. Performs other routine duties
• Operates sit-down or standup forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse

• Reliability & Consistency - This role depends on showing up, doing repetitive tasks accurately, and maintaining steady output without sacrificing quality
• Must have mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
• The job may involve standing, lifting and moving materials throughout a shift
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Must be comfortable using computers
• Great tenure at prior roles
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
