Heavy Materials Forklift Technician

Overview

Location: Columbus, OH, 43207

• Operate forklifts to efficiently move and position materials and finished goods.
• Load and unload trailers and containers with care.
• Inspect forklifts and related equipment; flag maintenance needs promptly.
• Keep inventory records accurate and assist with stock placement and organization.
• Comply with all safety rules and company procedures.
• Partner with team members to meet schedules and delivery commitments.
• Immediately report equipment malfunctions or potential hazards.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Current forklift operator certification.
• Demonstrated forklift experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Sharp attention to detail and a strong safety focus.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Team-oriented with solid communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy for inventory systems.

This role is performed largely outdoors and involves exposure to a variety of weather conditions.

• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• Material Handler Experience
• Heavy Material Handling
• Forklift Licensed
• Meets Physical Requirements
• High School / GED
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
