Sheet Metal Fabricator

The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for fabricating parts for production by means of blueprints, drawings, specification sheets, and verbal instructions.

• Fabricate parts for production using blueprints, drawings, specification sheets, and verbal instructions.
• Operate tools and machinery: drill press, turret punch, punch press, air tools, band saw, various hand tools, belt sander, break press, shears.
• Follow all company policies including safety, attendance, breaks, etc.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Work overtime when warranted.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in a similar position.

• Safety conscious.
• Excellent mechanical ability.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Proficient with measuring devices: rule (increments of tenths, hundredths, and fractions of an inch), micrometer (thousandths), calipers (thousandths).
• Ability to convert fractions and decimals.
• Read and apply work instructions and specification sheets.
• Work efficiently.
• Read/write fluent in English; communicate effectively with coworkers.
