Quality Control Lab Tech ; 2nd shift

Franklin International, a leading manufacturer of adhesives, coatings, and sealants, is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician. The role is responsible for ensuring product quality by performing a variety of quality control laboratory services in the testing and evaluation of the company’s products.

Shift: 2nd shift (3pm – 11:30pm). This position may require flexibility to work other shifts to cover vacations, sick days or department staffing needs.

• Monitor product quality by performing defined tests to evaluate product properties and characteristics.
• Make decisions concerning the inspection status and/or adjustments of products or batches according to prescribed instructions and procedures.
• Compile information obtained from testing, record test results in the company’s quality systems, and make verbal reports.
• Read meters, dials, gauges, and scales; operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment; perform simple math calculations.

• High school diploma/GED with 1 year of technical experience, or associate’s degree with no experience.
• Prefer previous QC/Lab experience in chemical manufacturing (or related) environment.
