Rental Yard Associate

Position Overview

We are hiring immediately for a Rental Yard Associate. This role will involve removing dirt, concrete, or other debris from rental equipment and area using hand tools and cleaning equipment. It includes ensuring all rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes out to the customer, inspecting for damage and reporting any damage according to established procedure, oiling and lubricating all tools, equipment and tilt‑up braces according to specifications, preparing and staging rental orders for delivery, following company safety policy and procedures, and performing other duties as assigned.

Required ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for periods of more than 60 minutes. Generally has 0–2 years of experience.

• Removes dirt, concrete, or other debris from rental equipment and area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Ensures all rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes out to the customer.
• Inspects all rental equipment for damage. Reports any damage according to established procedure.
• Oils and lubricates all tools, equipment and tilt‑up braces according to specifications.
• Prepares and stages rental orders to go out for delivery.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Generally has 0–2 years of experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.

$17.75–$23.00 hourly (Ohio law requires the posting of a salary range for advertised jobs). The range is determined based on market data and internal pay practices. Individual base pay is determined based on experience, skills, internal equity and other factors.
