Responsibilities
  • Keep facility systems and production equipment in safe, reliable working condition.
  • Carry out both electrical and mechanical servicing on a range of industrial machinery, including hydraulic and mechanical forging presses (up to 2500 tons), combustion furnaces, CNC saws, shot blast units, and related support equipment.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in alignment with established procedures.
  • Record all maintenance activities, equipment repairs, parts usage, and project work.
  • Communicate and document unplanned equipment downtime and planned corrective actions.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, including servo controls and drive technologies.
  • Enter maintenance data promptly and accurately into the computerized system.
  • Support additional maintenance-related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of experience in equipment repair, servicing, and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems.
  • Fundamental skills in welding, cutting, and general mechanical work.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings and schematics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to safely operate meters and take accurate measurements.
  • Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and commitment to safe work practices.
