Position Summary:
The FSQA Technician II monitors the production processes to ensure product is within food and safety quality standards.
What You'll Do:
- Inspect and test raw materials to ensure vendor compliance with specifications and established procedures.
- As required, monitor current procedures to assure compliance to required specifications, reporting any findings to QA Manager for needed changes or adjustments.
- Put non-conforming product or unsanitary processing equipment on HOLD status.
- Perform technical operations such as taking and/or shipping samples, examining/analyzing product, recording results and taking appropriate corrective action.
- Assist with the completion of reports requested by management.
- Clean, maintain, and sanitize all equipment used in the Quality Control area according to established sanitary rules, regulations, and maintenance/calibration procedures.
- Basic cleaning of the lab including sweeping, dusting, and cleaning the counters.
- Inputting analytical data
- Assist HR with the recruitment, hiring and training of sanitation personnel.
- Deliver samples for testing to outside laboratories
- Perform all other duties as assigned
About You:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Good supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills

- Delegate responsibilities effectively
- Ability to operate a car and maintain valid driver's license
