Sheet Metal Fabricator

The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for fabricating parts for production by means of blueprints, drawings specification sheets, and verbal instructions. Key responsibilities include fabricating parts for production using blueprints, drawings, specification sheets and verbal instructions, operating tools and machinery such as Drill Press, Turret Punch, Punch Press, Air Tools, Band Saw, various Hand Tools, Belt Sander, Break Press, Shears, following all company policies including safety, attendance, breaks, etc, and being able to work overtime when warranted.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and two years' experience working in a similar position. Desired qualifications include being safety conscious, possessing excellent mechanical ability, ability to lift 50 lbs, and the ability to read and use measuring devices including rules, micrometers, and calipers. Ability to read work instructions and apply them to specific work types, read and write in English, and speak effectively with other employees is also required.
