Maintenance Hydro Blast Operator

We are hiring a Maintenance Hydro Blast Operator on 3rd shift to support plant operations. This role primarily involves operating modern high-pressure cleaning equipment, with limited manual blasting and reduced need for confined space entry or prolonged respirator use.
Schedule:
- 4x10-hour shifts (Sunday night through Thursday morning)
- 9:00 PM – 7:15 AM
- Off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Pay:
$25.79 – $31.18 per hour depending on experience and certification
- Entry rate: $25.79/hour (training rate)
- Experienced candidates may start up to $30.18/hour
- Pay progression based on certification
- Additional $1.20/hour shift differential for 3rd shift
Job Duties:
- Operate high-pressure water blasting equipment (10K–20K PSI)
- Perform industrial cleaning on equipment such as tanks, piping, boilers, and heat exchangers
- Utilize modern automated and semi-automated cleaning systems
- Operate equipment including skid loaders, scissor lifts, aerial lifts, forklifts, and vacuum trucks
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment
- Work safely in industrial environments, including elevated areas and occasionally confined spaces
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Capable of climbing, bending, stooping, and working in industrial environments
- Ability to work in varying conditions (heat, cold, wet, and dirty environments)
- Use of required PPE, including respirators, when necessary
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Industrial cleaning or maintenance experience preferred but not required
- Mechanical aptitude and experience operating equipment is a plus
- Ability to work in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment
