PositionMars Petcare Operator 2 (3rd Shift) – Columbus, OH
Compensation- Pay: $24.10/hour

Current shift schedule (first 60–120 days):
- Schedule 1:
Monday-Friday, 11 pm – 7:30 am - Schedule 2: 2.2.3 Rotation, 7 pm – 7 am
Operator-2 is responsible for efficient production of quality products. Operates and changeover specified machinery, ensures efficiency and safety, operational conformance, product quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain production line operations by preparing, operating, and troubleshooting equipment for setup, adjustments, and changeovers.
- Solves production process problems and reports production and quality data.
- Follow policies and procedures (equipment, raw and in-process materials, finished goods).
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Safely transport materials and finished goods between production and storage areas.
- Accomplish organization/team goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by Manager or Team lead.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education.
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Proficient in computer software, including MS Office and email.
- Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Frequent lifting/carrying (10–50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50–300 lbs).
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
- Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods during 12-hour shifts.
- Capable of working in hot, cold, and wet conditions.
- Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
- Wear proper personal protective equipment.
- Technical degree or certification(s).
- Mechanically inclined.
- Experience operating or troubleshooting high-speed equipment.
- Basic knowledge of Continuous Improvement / Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
