Test Technician_Bench

Job Summary

The Test Technician - bench is responsible for performing verification testing on circuit boards and various assemblies.

• Perform testing and troubleshooting with basic meters of uninterruptible power systems equipment, such as inverters, rectifiers, chargers, static switches, AC regulators and associated equipment.
• Basic circuit analysis.
• Interpret schematics and assembly prints.
• Perform verification testing on circuit boards and various assemblies.
• Any additional tasks as deemed necessary.

• At least 5 years’ experience in power electronics, with a technology background and versatile hands‑on skills. Experience with power ranges of 480 VAC 3-phase and 240 VDC. Knowledge of DC/AC principles and electrical language.
• Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology;
  Diploma or Certificate in an Electronics program or equivalent experience or military equivalent experience.

• Electrical and mechanical aptitude and basic skills in soldering (through‑hole and SMT), electro‑mechanical assembly, and proficiency with hand tools.
• Knowledge in the use of multimeters and other basic instruments; familiarity with mult‑purpose test instruments such as oscilloscopes, component testers, digital test equipment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, assembly prints, schematics, and parts lists, and understanding of electronic circuits.
• Computer literate with basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
• Team player with time‑management skills and ability to multitask with little supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Some knowledge of AC/DC power electronics, willing to work with voltages as high as 480 VAC 3-phase and 240 VDC.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
