Repair Technician – 1st Shift (M‑F 7:00am – 3:30pm) – Columbus, OH
$26.63per hour
. Hiring immediately.
- Inspect, diagnose, and determine appropriate repair methods for electric and pneumatic hand tools.
- Disassemble, clean, repair or replace parts, and reassemble tools, ensuring mandatory safety and performance standards.
- Perform mandatory testing procedures to confirm compliance with quality and safety specifications.
- Maintain an organized work area and follow safety protocols.
- Communicate progress and status of repairs to supervisors and team members.
- Contribute suggestions for improvements in systems, processes, or policies.
- Assist with related duties such as 5S improvements, Kaizen projects, or supervisor‑assigned tasks.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency reading technical diagrams and schematics.
- Proficient in using computer systems and mandatory verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math proficiency, including fractions and percentages.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and self‑manage during changing demands.
- Must meet the mandatory performance standards of the assigned tool group.
- Must successfully pass the mandatory Repair Technician Test.
- Must meet mandatory physical requirements: must walk, stand for the duration of the shift, lift up to 50pounds, climb and descend the stairs specified.
