Location:

Columbus, OH Shift: 4/4 Must be open to day and night shift depending on crew Salary: $33.10/hour; shift differential: .50/day shift and .75/night shift

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Complies with established job safety practices, policies and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for the safe performance of the work assignment.
  • Supports and follows the guidelines of the food safety system.
  • Performs duties as required to insure compliance with the plant's quality standards.
  • Leads personnel in the on-floor efforts for the operation and maintenance of production equipment.
  • Performs various manual or mechanical production functions by operating, adjusting, and repairing the production equipment to meet customer specifications.
  • Evaluates and determines specific areas to be addressed during routine maintenance scheduled downtimes.
  • Disassembles, overhauls, and rebuilds production equipment.
  • Performs troubleshooting on production equipment as required.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment as required.
  • Performs on-the-job training and development of assigned personnel.
  • Conducts inspection of in-process materials and in-process and finished product.
  • Responsible for replenishing supplies, materials, parts, and tooling required for assigned area.
  • Performs record keeping duties as required under the direction of management.
  • Accesses, inputs, and retrieves information from the computer.
  • Communicates pertinent information to next Performs clean-up, painting, and housekeeping duties.
  • Reviews SOPs and control plans relevant to their area on a regular basis.
  • Initiates, reviews, and follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for area of responsibility.
