Shift supervisor, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Pelton Shepherd Industries seeks a 1st and 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead production teams manufacturing gel ice packs and sustainable cold chain solutions in Stockton, CA. You will oversee shift operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time output, while coaching and developing team members. Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating with maintenance and quality, tracking performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate 1st or 2nd shift production teams in a gel ice pack manufacturing environment
• Monitor daily production schedules, output, and quality to meet safety, efficiency, and delivery goals
• Train, coach, and evaluate shift employees, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Enforce safety, GMP, and company policies; promptly address hazards, incidents, and nonconformance
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and logistics to resolve issues and minimize downtime
• Track shift metrics, maintain accurate records, and report performance and issues to plant leadership
• Support implementation of process improvements, sustainability initiatives, and cost-reduction projects
• Ensure effective shift handoffs, communication, and staffing coverage across 1st and 2nd shifts
