We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 1st Shift Manual Welder to join our team. You will be responsible for performing high-quality MIG and/or TIG welding on steel and stainless steel components. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read complex blueprints, and a commitment to maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

7am - 3pm

$24.00 - $32.00

• Perform MIG and TIG operations on various metal components, ensuring all welds meet structural and aesthetic specifications
• Interpret engineering drawings, technical blueprints, and weld symbols to determine project requirements
• Conduct thorough visual inspections and use precision measuring tools (calipers, squares, tape measures) to ensure parts meet tolerances
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and maintain a clean, organized workstation
• Meet or exceed daily production quotas while minimizing scrap and rework

• Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in MIG and/or TIG welding, specifically working with steel and/or stainless steel in a production environment
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Current welding certification (AWS or equivalent) is highly preferred
• Proficiency in identifying metal types, gauges, and various hardware components
• Must be able to stand for long periods and be capable of lifting up to 80 pounds regularly
• Candidates must successfully pass a hands-on welding test as part of the interview process
• Requirement to wear all mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a welding helmet, gloves, and steel-toed boots
