Job Description Core Duties and Responsibilities- Machine Operation: Operates hydraulic or power shears/saws to cut materials to precise dimensions.
- Setup and Calibration: Sets up machine stops, gauges, and blades, adjusting the rake (angle) and pressure for optimal cuts.
- Material Handling: Lifts, positions, and aligns materials (metal plates, sheets, bars) manually or using overhead cranes.
- Quality Inspection: Inspects finished work pieces for accuracy, checking for compliance with blueprints or work orders.
- Maintenance & Safety: Performs routine maintenance (e.g., lubricating, sharpening blades) and adheres to safety regulations, including wearing protective gear
