2nd or 3rd Shift Machine Operator

Pelton Shepherd Industries seeks a 2nd or 3rd Shift Machine Operator to run production lines for gel ice packs and cold chain products in our Stockton, CA facility. You will set up and operate machinery, load materials, monitor output, and perform basic troubleshooting to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Responsibilities include following strict safety and environmental procedures, conducting routine inspections and changeovers, recording production data, and collaborating with teammates to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment for gel ice packs and cold chain products on 2nd or 3rd shift
• Set up machines, load materials, and adjust settings to maintain product quality and output
• Perform routine inspections, identify issues, and work with maintenance to minimize downtime
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures and documentation requirements
• Complete basic troubleshooting, cleaning, and changeovers between production runs
• Accurately record production data, counts, and material usage in logs or systems
• Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to meet production targets and continuous improvement goals
