Production Technician

Calgon Carbon Corporation is seeking a Production Technician 2 for our Columbus manufacturing facility. In this role, you will operate and monitor production equipment used to manufacture activated carbon and filtration products, following strict safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include setup, troubleshooting, basic equipment maintenance, material handling, and accurate production documentation. You will work closely with a collaborative team to meet production targets, support continuous improvement, and help ensure our products protect water, air, and the environment in global markets.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing and filtration production equipment
• Set up, adjust, and safely shut down machinery per procedures
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and minor maintenance
• Handle raw materials and finished products, including loading and unloading
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures
• Record production data and complete required documentation accurately
• Inspect products to ensure quality specifications are met
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
