Auto Tig Welder

The role involves the operation, setup, and maintenance of high-volume automated TIG welding equipment used to create specialized tubular products and hydraulic lines. Our facility operates 10 automated TIG welding stations, supplemented by robotic cells and manual lines, to support a variety of equipment needs.

• Prepare machinery by performing necessary cleaning and calibration to initiate production cycles.
• Regulate and modify operational parameters such as machine speed to optimize performance.
• Verify that all components are adequately prepared prior to the welding process.
• Utilize precision measurement instruments to evaluate part quality and accuracy.
• Conduct routine operational testing to ensure equipment functions as intended.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise throughout your shift.
• Monitor production output to identify and mitigate machine-related defects or errors.
• Maintain accurate documentation of both defective units and approved final products.
• Update activity logs to track production progress.
• Input necessary data into the system to verify that all setup requirements are met.
• Demonstrate adaptability by assisting in various departments as operational needs dictate.

• Demonstrated background working as a machine operator.
• Proficiency in utilizing various high-speed production machines and measurement tools like micrometers and calipers.
• Solid understanding of standard manufacturing workflows.
• Help maintain a safe working environment by strictly following all health and safety protocols, including the consistent use of protective equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong analytical capabilities to solve production challenges.

The position operates on a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm, with the possibility of mandatory overtime on Fridays. The starting pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

This role is highly active and requires the ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, balancing, kneeling, stooping, climbing, and repetitive motions. You must be capable of grasping, lifting, and moving objects weighing up to 75 pounds, as well as calculating, reading, and communicating effectively.
