P&C Marketing Integration is focused on building Nationwide’s leadership position around “Specialized Protection with Confidence” to fuel brand choice, strengthening partner satisfaction and growth through differentiated experiences, and using data, AI, and technology to deliver smarter solutions that improve business outcomes.

We are seeking a Sr. Consultant, Firm Marketing to develop and execute account-based marketing strategies and firm-level plans to nurture relationships and drive sales opportunities for P&C’s top firms and priority national partners. This role will lead firm‑specific campaigns and initiatives in partnership with the National Partners Team and Business Unit Marketers, including appetite campaigns, Circle‑of‑Influence campaigns, and unique firm programs.

This role will report to the Director, Partnership Solutions Marketing within P&C Marketing Integration.

This hybrid position may be based in Des Moines, IA or Columbus, OH. Candidates located near a Nationwide campus will collaborate in office 2 days per week. Current Nationwide Remote Associates may also be considered.

As a Senior Consultant, you'll lead the development and execution of marketing strategies using highly advanced marketing principles. You will execute on future business or marketing needs driven by quantitative data/research, competitive insights and/or consumer behaviors. Additionally, we'll count on you to ensure a strong focus on end‑to‑end customer experience, delivering exceptional customer experience overall.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads in the development and execution of strategies and plans that ensure long term sustainable growth of the business. Synthesizes data and uses this understanding to support identification and innovation of business building solutions.
  • Leads sophisticated projects and processes within area of responsibility to deliver results with multiple target completion dates and shifting priorities.
  • Implements digital and traditional marketing tactics and media, including creative development process, planning, and execution.
  • Leads creative development and provides specific feedback on look and feel and develops strong creative briefs.
  • Monitors emerging innovative trends in content, design and marketing tactics
  • Reviews and analyzes customer insights and analytics and tools to understand and forecast market, competitor and customer needs and behavior. Helps to define appropriate target audiences, evaluate sufficiency, and effectively get results with data‑based decisions.
  • Ensures programs are on strategy and on schedule.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships:
Reports to Director/Associate Vice President/Vice President. This is an individual contributor and may manage a team based on organizational structure; may also lead virtual and project teams.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field; graduate degree highly desirable.

License/Certification/Designation
:
