Senior Communications Coordinator
This is a paid developmental role for someone with strong communication instincts, organization, and potential who wants more than a narrow entry-level position.
At Abundria, you will learn communications by working inside several interconnected salon, education, and business brands, each with its own audience, voice, priorities, and opportunities. You will receive active coaching, frequent feedback, practical training, and progressively greater ownership as your capabilities grow.
You do not need to arrive as a fully developed communications coordinator. You do need to bring strong foundational skills, intellectual curiosity, reliability, good judgment, and the willingness to learn quickly and apply feedback.
The role begins part-time while you learn Abundria’s systems, brand voices, quality standards, and workflows. It is intended to develop into a full-time Communications Coordinator position once you can independently and consistently manage its core responsibilities and the business is ready to support the transition.
WHAT YOU WILL GAINThis role offers the opportunity to:
- Build meaningful, portfolio-ready experience across multiple brands.
- Learn social media, digital communications, website coordination, reputation management, and communications operations as an integrated discipline.
- Receive direct coaching and regular, specific feedback.
- Develop the judgment to distinguish routine execution from sensitive or strategic communication.
- Learn to coordinate contributors, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Progress from supported execution to independent ownership.
- See how communications connects with customer experience, operations, education, culture, and business performance.
- Grow within an organization that actively develops people rather than expecting them to arrive fully formed.
This may be an especially strong fit for an early-career communicator, highly capable recent graduate, career changer, or self-taught content professional who has developed strong foundational skills but has not yet had the opportunity to build broad, coordinated experience inside a growing organization.
We are looking for potential plus evidence: someone who can already write clearly, organize work, meet commitments, notice details, and respond constructively to feedback—and who wants to develop the broader skills required to own a multi-brand communications function.
