Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Development Manager, based in Columbus, OH. The Development Manager will be responsible for planning and executing fundraising strategies, cultivating donor relationships, and identifying funding opportunities to support the organization's mission. The role also includes grant writing, developing sponsorship proposals, and serving as a liaison with partners and stakeholders. Additionally, the Development Manager will oversee donor databases, analyze fundraising metrics, and ensure compliance with fundraising standards and guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, and donor relationship management
  • Strategic planning skills, including the ability to develop sponsorship proposals and funding strategies
  • Proficiency with donor database management and the ability to analyze fundraising metrics
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and project management skills
  • Familiarity with nonprofit operations and experience working in mission-driven organizations
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all organizational activities
  • Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working with grassroots organizations or Reproductive Justice is a plus
